Close encounter of the tuneful kind
and perched on a very low branch of a tree,
then burst into song just a foot above my head
"I want a mate!," that songbird said
(This is the closest I've ever been to a wild bird in song. I got quite a kick out of it.)

For the record, yes, I do sometimes "bury" posts by deliberately publishing them several posts down from the top, lest they be too visible to my co-workers. I would appreciate your comments not only the previous post ("Outed as a blogger"), but, especially, to the post before that ("Positive & Negative"). Thank you for your patience.

Goodness! We've got to get you out of the city! I can't begin to describe the beautiful concerts we hear (and I am hearing right now) from the time we wake each morning. Listening to Hashems beautiful songsters praising Him is a true inspiration to daven!
Well, The Ramble area in Central Park is noted as a bird-watching area, but I guess that's as close as I'm going to get without renting a car.
I will have to add to my morning blessings 'Who has not made me a big-city dweller'.
;-)
